Preparing and packing for 8 and a half months of travelling is no small feat. For two inexperienced backpackers, its taken many trips into the city and a whole lot of research to feel even somewhat prepared for the journey ahead of us. The other challenge was keeping things compact, difficult for the likes of Daniel, who has rather large feet. Big feet = less room in your pack.
